Bio

This extraordinary runner was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but instead, molded himself into an icon of perseverance and dedication. His journey, glittering with an array of accolades, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the sport.

Rojo's career turned heads from its very inception. His debut in the European Athletics Championships was nothing short of spectacular, where he finished in the top ten despite being amongst the youngest competitors. This early success was just a glimpse of what was yet to come.

Having dominated the national scene, Rojo set his sights on international glory. He won the gold medal in the 10,000m race at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, a victory that firmly established him as a force to be reckoned with. His personal best of 27:48:39 in the same event is testimony to his phenomenal speed and stamina.

Yet, it's not just his victories that define Rojo, but also his resilience in the face of defeat. In the 2017 World Championships, despite leading for much of the race, he fell short of a medal finish. Instead of being disheartened, he used this setback as fuel for his future endeavors, showcasing a sportsman's spirit that many athletes aspire to.

Rojo's achievements are amplified when compared to other athletes of his generation. He has consistently outperformed his contemporaries, a fact that is evident in his impressive ranking in the IAAF World Championships.
